Bourke: A Vision Splendid

Banjo Paterson’s poem has the line, “And he sees the vision splendid; of the sunlit plains extended….” Jenny’s beautiful artwork does capture the extended sunlit plains and the artwork truely is ‘A Vision Splendid’. Perhaps these very scenes were what Banjo had in mind when he penned these words.
