What’s a Giclee? Simply put it’s the best quality reproduction of an original artwork. If you can’t afford the original then a Giclee will look just as good at a fraction of the price. Sometimes the artists can’t even pick the difference! FEBRUARY FEATURE ARTIST – Barry Ingham.
World renowned wildlife artist, Barry Ingham is recognised for his contributions to wildlife conservation by www.natureartists.com. Barry will be the feature artist for February 2010 and has released a series of Time Limited Edition, Giclee Reproductions of selected images.
The Nature Artists web site lists artists by invitation only and exhibits around 300 of the best wildlife artists in the world. Barry has been selling some of his work here for over 3 years and has now been given the prestigious honour of Conservation Artist of the month, a title few other artists can claim. Continuing with his goals to support wildlife conservation, Barry has released several artworks as Time Limited Giclee Reproductions with 20% of all sales donated to conservation organisations both in Australia and overseas.
